There is nothing new under the sun

This is my schedule which is designed by Swing Lam, a VA student.

He designed it like a passport. When I first looked at it. I was attracted by the cover logo. I thought, "this must be something! must be sth related to this logo!" I thought it might be related to HK. As it looks like western, something which is related to hk and is western --that should be Britain. The logo left in my mine. And.....
......... Once, I accidentally found it in Wikipedia.

I don't know why he used the Colonial Badge. Perhaps, it's because::
The system of University derived from the west and Hong Kong was colonized. And, since the lion and dragon can be used to repesent Western and Chinese, he just used it simply.

I think changing the Colonial Badge is better than changing the hk logo or whatever as it allows the desige not to be so boring. This kind of "new from old" is always utilized in these few yrs , some artworks have made people feeling interesting.
