poster of Helvetica VS its imitation

Helvetica gave people a more neutral and objective feeling. When this font was used in Switzerland and later entered USA,it affected lots of design, e.g ads of Coca-Cola in 50 years ago and some propaganda of govermt.

Moreover,Microsoft adopt this design's idea and develop "Arial".

Below is a Helvetica film poster"Meet the cast" designed by Experimental Jetset in 2007.

very simple but direct. I quite like it as it show the beauty of this font. objective and rational.

However, the below design is .....((OH MY GOD!!)) Totally destroyed my feeling.

This was found on a website,''Design museum shop" (or sth similar).

This is for jotter cover. I am wondering how can this stupid copy can be sold=.=
